My name is Natalie, I’m from Aberdeen, Scotland and I started this blog in Dec 2011 to display my portfolio, get myself out there as a designer and meet some fabulous bloggers.
Studying at RGU Grays has helped me perfect my manufacturing technique and professional quality in garment construction with industry machines, gain creative skills to accumulate good research and fabric sourcing and in developing my skills in illustration, whether by hand or in photoshop/ Lectra.
Vitally, it has also been an enviroment that has encouraged me and made me confident and resourceful, and has challenged my design practice to be more innovative.
I am enthusiastic and I’m really excited to take on some new experiences. I enjoy writing for my blog, visiting exhibitions and local stalls, painting and drawing, reading books and magazines, design and art. I also enjoy doing freelance work.
I have big ambitions for the future, but I keep them to myself as I don’t want to count my eggs before they hatch!
